Salone 2025 Recap

After a five-year hiatus, we finally made our return to Milan for Salone del Mobile 2025—and it was worth the wait. From showroom presentations to design week installations across the city, our favorite brands once again delivered, with exciting new pieces that will soon join the A+R collection. This year, themes of craftsmanship, material innovation, and tech-forward design were especially prominent—reflected in everything from sculptural forms to boundary-pushing production techniques.

Here, we’re spotlighting a few standout debuts that left a lasting impression:

Moooi – Haybale

Nicholas Baker turns a childhood memory into modular design. Inspired by stacked hay bales, his quilted seating for Moooi is playful, sculptural, and unexpectedly cozy.

BD Barcelona – Eclipso by Jaime Hayon

A favorite among those in the know, Jaime Hayon brings his signature surrealism to BD Barcelona with Eclipso—a collection that orbits between art and function with cosmic curves and radiant contrast.

Sancal – Vesta Sofa

From Sancal’s Workart Chronicle, the Vesta sofa blends pillowy comfort with mythic proportions—equal parts softness and statement.

There’s nothing quite like the creative charge that lingers after a week in Milan. Salone continues to spark new perspectives and fresh energy—fueling what’s next at A+R. We’re already looking forward to introducing these latest discoveries to our collection. More to come.
